Will has decided that he would like to help organise and fundraise for us all to go on the Big Picture Trip to America. Wow! Wouldn't that be great?

I would like to lay down some ground rules from the start as to who would be eligible. I would love everyone to go but only those who earn the right will be able to go. You should ask yourself these questions because this is what I will be using to help me to decide who I would take:

• Is your behaviour reliable?
• Are you trustworthy?
• Are you a role model?
• Do you show initiative?
• Is your work up to date?
• Can you speak in front of class?
• What was your report like from your mentor?
• Can you plan and organise Shadow Days and LTIs?
• Can you help Will with the fundraising?

Here are some ideas and suggestions from Will:

• call lions club tell them of our situation and tell the about the big picture
• call rotary club ask if they can get involed with our trip to america tell them how it involve our learning and the understanding of education in other countries
• organise a garaged sale and get people to donate items we can sell for funds towards the trip
• get a jar of lollies and get people to pay 50c to guess how many lollies are in the jar
• convert the swear jar each week get our tec $$ and get vaugh to donate that money to the funds
• get a fines jar .. different footy clubs have ways to donate money for there end of season footy trip my club has fine when someone does something stupid during the week people can nominate them for a fine and at the end of the week the fines and read out and the student has to make a donation
• sausage sizzle at the in town tafe sauasages ang hamburgers and cans of drink
• get the radio station to get involed to promote our cause and the big picture
• get local school involve by asking them to have and crazy hair day or footy colours day when students dress up and donate money
• writeletters to all kinds of local bussiness telling them of our trip anmd big picture over seas and about our programs

Geoff i really want this trip to happen i just want the ok i am willing to alot of the work myself, i am comited to it and just want a date and a price for the group and i will try my hardest to get the funds needed for the whole group to go to america with viv and yourself.

I went to this fundraiser the other night for autisim it was a pictionary night everyone payed 10 dollars and i went with all friends so we had a table of eight and there was all other tables and one would go up from each table and see a word then go back and draw it to the rest of the table then they would guess then when you had it you would yell it out and they had raffles and drinks and other litle games.this could be a good idea to raise money for the trip
